I really thought about this purchase, and decided it was a must for my family. Its a great idea to get your kids to do something together, and its something the whole family can really enjoy together (record each other singing, send it off to family who couldn’t make it for christmas, etc).

i think this is going to be a big hit at my household this christmas (new years too?) can’t wait to see the looks on my kids’ faces!

Had issues with the playstation box recognizing the disk. When checking with Amazon help desk, they indicated a bad batch on them had been recieved. Hopefully, future PS2 won’t have such poor quality.

Sure I got the whole bundle for $100 is not a bad deal. But the game Singstar pop really sucks. You just can sing along with the singer, and can’t just show your own voice. There are not too many choices to choose from those songs either. After a while, you are already bored with this game.
Another thing really sucks is the mics come with this bundle don’t work with other games such as Karaoke Revolution series. It’s just so dumb to get another set of mics for this.
I am already regretful to get this. The PS2 itself is fine, but never buy this game, piece of junk.

I bought it to try to see if I like playing games again after a period of 8 years and yes I did like playing games again. But biggest problem with PS2 is, it does not have next generation games and I bought Xbox 360 subsequently and I am very pleased with the latter one with games such as Halo 3, COD 4, BioShock, Rainbow six Vegas one see the true capability of the system and the level of engagement of the gamer with the games, with PS2 it hardly has these kind of games and I don’t use it anymore!
