Bethesda Soft won’t answer my emails about SecuRom being installed on the HD for the DVD check, but they always have in the past. This to me guarantees that SecuRom WILL be installed on the hard drive and may interfere with normal computer activities. Bethesda Soft did it with GOTY Oblivion. Another one to skip, I hope I can get StarCraft 2.

THIS GAME DOES NOT WORK ON THE PC! I guess my quad & 8 gig ram, 9600gt video wasn’t enough for this game. This game was sold by bethesda with no workable patch. This game crashes from the very start and cannot be played with any consistancy. It’s basically worthless. Thankfully I got it new on ebay for 15 bucks so my exposure is limited. For what its worth, the landscape in this game is truly amazing, the best I have ever seen. The story line is very good and the graphics incredible. I had to play this game in god mode just to get any minimal play out of this before a crash occurred. If you can get this for free and have a high tolerance for frustration, try it. But by all means, don’t buy it!!!!

I was going to buy this until a friend warned me to wait. He correctly guessed that they would put in the hackers’ delight DRMs, which I didn’t want to screw up my brand new gaming laptop. Glad I listened now. I bought Oblivion and all the add-ons, but won’t touch this until the some court forces them to cease and desist. Has anyone launched a class action yet?

I enjoyed both Fallout and Fallout 2. I’ll pass on Fallout 3. I refuse to believe a game has to be laced with foul language to make it gritty or more realistic.
